Jabra Elite 5 Hybrid ANC True Wireless Earbuds

The Jabra Elite 5 Hybrid ANC True Wireless Earbuds are designed to let you pause for a moment before quickly reconnecting. The Jabra Elite 5 True Wireless Earbuds fit in my ears quite comfortably and are smaller than many true wireless earbuds. This isn’t how I usually feel about earbuds, but the Elite 5 are so pleasant that it’s easy to forget they’re there. Also, they are IP55 rated, making them secure for exercise. Although the Jabra Elite 5 True Wireless Earbuds don’t have a fin to help them stay in your ears, they have felt secure enough when I’ve worn them while working out. One physical button is present on each bud of the Jabra Elite 5 TWS Earbuds. The Elite 5’s form prevents the earbuds from pressing further into my ears when I press their buttons, which is contrary to my preference for capacitive touch controls on earbuds. The Jabra Sound+ app allows you to personalize the actions that single, double, and triple pressing take.

Great Active Noise Cancelling Performance

The ANC performance of Jabra Elite 5 True Wireless Earbuds is in line with what you may anticipate given the price range. It does a good job of muzzling monotonous noises like distant traffic or running air conditioning, but it struggles to muffle unpredictable noises like conversation, especially when the speakers have louder voices. The din of a coffee shop or city sidewalk, however, is hardly perceptible while music is playing at a medium volume because the Jabra Elite 5 TWS Earbuds can only partially muffle sounds.
