The Blackmagic Design UltraStudio 4K Mini Thunderbolt 3 links your Thunderbolt 3 computer to a variety of video capture, playback, and streaming components. This compact equipment can record DCI 4K60 4:2:2 video over a single 12G-SDI connection or DCI 4K30 4:2:2 video through HDMI. DCI 4K30 supports 12-bit High Dynamic Range (HDR) footage while DCI 4K60 supports 8-/10-bit video.

3″ LCD Status/Preview Screen

The built-in LCD screen of the Blackmagic Design UltraStudio 4K Mini allows you to monitor your signal, and an SD card reader gives you fast access to your SD media. The Thunderbolt 3 interface on the UltraStudio 4K Mini delivers lightning-fast connectivity and will trickle-charge a connected PC. Audio features include 16-channel SDI and 8-channel HDMI integrated input and output, a 3-pin XLR audio input, and a headphone output.

The UltraStudio Mini 4K Thunderbolt 3 offers both compressed and uncompressed video, is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux, and has the most popular codecs. The UltraStudio 4K Mini also supports 3D capture and playback through HDMI, as well as 3D SDI playback at DCI 4K30 speeds. An SD card contains DaVinci Resolve and related applications. The UltraStudio Mini 4K Thunderbolt 3 is powered by an inbuilt 100-240 VAC adaptor. The Blackmagic Design UltraStudio 4K has no warranty.
