ASUS Prime B660-PLUS D4 12th Gen ATX Motherboard

The ASUS Prime B660-PLUS has an Intel LGA 1700 socket and is compatible with 12th generation Intel CPUs. ASUS Prime series motherboards are skillfully designed to maximize the performance of 12th Generation Intel CPUs. The Prime B660, with its strong power architecture, complete cooling solutions, and intelligent tuning choices, offers users and PC DIY builders a variety of performance tweaking options through straightforward software and firmware features. The networking on this motherboard is ultrafast. There are three M.2 slots, three PCIe 4.0 slots, a rear USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C, a front USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, Realtek 2.5Gb Ethernet, and Thunderbolt 4 header support. It features an extensively cooling system. The VRM heatsink, M.2 heatsink, PCH heatsink, hybrid fan headers, and Fan Xpert 2+ are all included. The latest Intel CPUs now have free access to memory bandwidth thanks to changes to the motherboard’s trace routing. ASUS OptiMem technology organizes memory signal routes meticulously across several PCB layers to eliminate vias and includes shielding zones that dramatically reduce crosstalk. The advantages of ASUS OptiMem include improved memory stability and compatibility, shorter memory latencies at equivalent voltages, and increased memory frequency margin. Synopsys HSPICE simulation software was used to evaluate motherboards using OptiMem technology.
