TP-Link TL-FC111B-20 10/100 Mbps WDM Media Converter
The TP-Link TL-FC111B-20 is a 100M media converter with a 100M RJ-45 connection and a 100M SC fiber port that can convert between electrical and optical data. Long-distance data transfer through optical fiber may also be used in business settings such as park security monitoring and wireless networking. The TL-FC111B-20 uses WDM (wavelength division multiplexing) technology to deliver and receive data across a distance of up to 20km (12.4 miles) using only one fiber, saving clients half the cost of cable deployment. On optical fiber, the TL-FC111B-20 sends data at 1310nm and receives data at 1550nm. The TL-FC111A-20 operates as a pair on the opposite end, receiving data at 1310nm and transmitting data at 1550nm. The TP-Link TL-FC111B-20 10/100 Mbps WDM Media Converter comes with a 01-year warranty.
