Description
The TP-Link DeltaStream DS-P7001-16 is a high-performance, compact “pizza-box” style GPON OLT engineered for service provider and enterprise fibre-access deployments. With 16 GPON ports supporting a large 1:128 split ratio per port, the device can serve up to around 2,048 ONTs from a single chassis—ideal for large FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) rollouts or high-density multi-dwelling units.Its uplink architecture includes four 10 G SFP+ ports and two gigabit RJ45 ports, enabling high-bandwidth backhaul connectivity. The dual hot-swappable AC/DC power supply design ensures carrier-class availability and resilience. On the software side, it supports a comprehensive set of L2 functionality and advanced L3 routing capabilities, along with full management via CLI, SNMP, Web UI and the DeltaStream PON Management System (DPMS). Features such as ONU auto-authentication, rogue ONU detection/isolation, traffic encryption, QoS (including voice VLANs), IGMP/MLD snooping, DHCP server/relay, and static routing make it well-suited for modern fibre-access networks.
