The Hikvision DS‑1H18S/E Video Baluns Connector is a simple, reliable solution when you want to use standard UTP (Cat5e or Cat6) network cable instead of traditional coaxial cable for CCTV cameras. As a passive balun, it doesn’t require power — it just converts the unbalanced coaxial signal from the camera to a balanced signal over twisted‑pair cable, and back again at the DVR end.
